Who is Kugan Cassius?

Kugan Cassius started off his career working in Pizza Hut just as a way of bringing in some money. He then began to utilise his size (6 foot 5) working as a bodyguard in the boxing world for British boxing legend, Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton. Not only this, but Kugan has also starred in multiple British films, such as "The Hatton Garden Job" (2017), "Big Fat Gypsy Gangster" (2011) and "Holby City" (2008) just to name a few.

In hindsight, it is clear that Kugan was following his passion for both film and boxing, so it is no wonder that he co-founded a boxing-based Youtube channel called IFL TV (formerly 'I Film London') in 2010, alongside James Helder.

What is IFL TV?

IFL TV is a group that produces boxing related videos, mostly interviews, on Youtube. The IFL team interview many individuals in the boxing industry, from young prospect fighters to high-profile boxing figures such as Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and many others!

By 2013, the channel, IFL TV, solidified its position as the go-to British boxing Youtube channel. IFL TV not only paved the way for many other boxing channels, but it also proved to be a great decision by Kugan to leave everything behind and solely focus on his combined passions of filming and boxing.

IFL now boasts almost 500,000 Youtuber subscribers and has allowed Kugan to employ more team members and Kugan has formed strong bonds with stars of the boxing world, such as Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and legendary promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing.

This is proof that chasing your passion AND making a living from it, is possible!

To all those reading this that hate your job, why not find what you love and try to make a career from that instead, it can be hard but that's what separates the wheat from the chaff.
